Product Description

The production of spare parts for air suspension at the same level as Citroen is not an easy task. The French manufacturer has been using air suspension systems since the 1950s and has decades of experience in the field, making it hard to match their expertise. Nevertheless, we have done it and we offer our compressor for the highly successful Picasso. Our brand new Aerosus compressor is designed for all models of Citroen C4 Picasso and Grand Picasso from 2006 to 2013. It is delivered assembled and ready for installation. A solid-state relay (semiconductor relay) is already installed in the controller of our spare part. An exchange of the relay can therefore be omitted. In addition, the valve block for the controller is integrated into the compressor. The compressor can be found in the lower rear part of the vehicle, within a black box found almost in the middle.

Reputation as a Safe Mid-Range Vehicle

Since the start of production, the Picasso has been highly regarded as a mid-range car. The air suspension integrated into the rear axle contributes significantly to this. The heart of the air suspension system is the compressor, which provides sufficient dry compressed air to the level control air springs, contributing to increased safety and comfort.

Components of the Aerosus Compressor

Our self-leveling compressor consists of four main parts.
Air is compressed in a compressed air housing. A powerful electric motor provides the necessary driving power. Air dryers supply dry, compressed air to the system. Finally, an integrated solenoid valve block distributes the compressed air to air springs on either side of the rear axle. Our compact modular compressors offer safety and stability with minimal noise levels. In addition, our spare part impresses with its simple installation.

Why is the Level Control defective?

If the level control fails, it is most likely caused by a leak in the air suspension. If the air spring is leaking, the vehicle will drop rear axle overnight. The compressor runs too long, allowing moist air to pass through and causing the vehicle to lean. If your compressor makes loud pops, you should consider replacing it soon. If the level control is defective, it will not pump up, so the compressor will not produce enough compressed air and will overheat. The vehicle will drop on one side at the rear and stay in this position.

Simple and Convenient Installation
A solid state relay, a solid state relay required for operation, comes into its own right after the compressor is installed. When replacing, please note that the air duct is made in the same color as the compressor inlet. Our engineering team, responsible for development as well as ongoing quality testing, has done a great job making the replacement as easy as possible. Ultimately, professional inspection in Germany pays off.
