High-Quality Air Suspension for Flexible Level Control
A characteristic feature of the R-Class Airmatic by Mercedes-Benz is a selection of three air-suspension settings which can be adapted to the driving behaviour. Whether sporty, normal or comfort, with the original Aerosus air springs in the rear, you can continue to flexibly adjust the level of the suspension, thus benefiting from unrivalled ride comfort even after changing the components.
The spare parts produced specially for Aerosus were made to fit the 2 Corner (air suspension on the rear axle only) and 4 Corner (air suspension on the front and rear axle) variants of the R-Class. It doesn't matter if you own a vehicle with or without Adaptive Damping System ADS. This is because the air springs fit in any case, for every air suspension. All car parts by Aerosus are released on the market after a thorough quality inspection by our team of experts in Germany. That allows you to be sure that you always get flawless air springs of the highest quality.
Easy Installation Thanks to the Repair Kit Included
In order to ensure a comfortable and quick installation of the air springs for your W251 Mercedes, you'll receive them with a suitable repair kit. It includes a retaining clip, a rubber disk and a corresponding compressed air connection. Upon assembly, first remove the rear wheel and release the compressed air by unscrewing the compressed air connection on the air spring. The air-spring bellow can be simply pulled off to the bottom. The new Aerosus air suspension can then be fitted in reverse order.
If you want to change the air spring, then it's advisable to purchase two new air springs directly and have them replaced at the garage of your choice. A pair-wise exchange is advantageous, as you can pay only once for the change and save another visit to the workshop. In addition, we offer you a discount of 10% if you make a pair purchase with us.
Exchange Wearing Parts for the Sake of Safety and Comfort
The air springs tend to wear out. Initially, you don't notice this natural wear of materials. Only after some time, the first symptoms of a leaky suspension appear, such as a crookedness of your W251 Mercedes in parked position. Even long and continuous running of the compressor indicates a defect. If you notice these problems, then you should have the air spring replaced as soon as possible so the compressor won't be damaged.
