What Causes Suspension Issues?

12. Cover the fitting line. This prevents unwanted dust, dirt, and particles from entering.

13. Remove the base of your air spring from the lower section of the arm. The air spring might be in there tight. If this is the case, don’t be afraid to use a blunt object like a hammer for help.

14. Pull out your air spring.

15. Insert your new spring. The base of the air spring fits in perfect form. This means you’ll need to rotate it to fit. This step is critical for allowing your airline to connect. Keep in mind that this step is tricky, so take your time. (Remember: Slide in, Compress, Rotate).

16. Remove the plastic (NOT brass) protector of your airline.

17. Insert your airline. Push this piece directly into the spring. It’s a smooth and easy process if you did it right.

18. Put your calliper back into place. You’ll need to torque the bolts for the calliper to fit.

19. Reattach your cable shocks.

20. Reattach your battery.

21. Make sure your air spring inflates.

22. Reattach your rear wheel.

23. Pump your brakes. This step recalibrates your brake pads.
